Remote control for coding TUIs

Control your coding TUI from your phone

Remux captures a desktop window (Claude Code, Codex, terminals, editors), streams it to Android, and injects taps and keys back. No PTY cloud — screen capture + input only, end-to-end encrypted.

Direct connect free End-to-end encrypted Self-hostable relay
Works with
>_Claude Code >_Codex >_Terminals >_Editors Linux macOS Windows Android

Three ways to connect

Pick your path — two of them are free

Direct over your own network, the official Remux_NAT relay, or a relay you host yourself.

Direct — free

Same LAN, Tailscale / mesh VPN, or your DDNS hostname + token. No Remux servers in the path.

Remux_NAT — trial / paid

Official relay when the phone is on cellular and the PC is behind NAT. Trial in App; paid plans on the website.

Self-host relay — free

Run remux-relay on your VPS. Point the Agent at your wss:// URL. Not billed.

Deploy steps →

End-to-end encrypted

The relay forwards ciphertext only. Keys are negotiated per pairing; servers never see plaintext.

Window-level control

Pick a single window — Claude Code, Codex, a terminal — instead of mirroring the whole desktop.

No PTY cloud

Your shells never run on our machines. Screen capture + input injection is all that crosses the wire.

How it fits together

From install to control in four steps

One line on Linux / macOS / Windows. It lives in the tray.

Install the App

Android APK from the download page (iOS TestFlight coming).

Pair

Scan the Agent QR (direct by default) or enter host + token.

Control

Pick a window and drive it from your phone.
